Wolfsburg have joined Arsenal in the growing list of clubs interested in Fulham keeper Mark Schwarzer.
The former Bundesliga champions have been told to get the 37-year-old Australian by new boss Steve McClaren, who worked with Schwarzer at Middlesbrough when they won the Carling Cup and reached the UEFA Cup final.
Wolfsburg know all about the Fulham keeper, who speaks fluent German, from the Europa League quarter-final when he made a couple of key saves in the first half of the second leg.
Arsenal have also been linked to Schwarzer and reports yesterday claimed Arsene Wenger had him scouted in Fulham's final two matches of the season - although he knows all about him from almost ten years of watching him in the Premier League.
All the rumours are good for Schwarzer's new deal talks, with the ex-Bradford City star out of contract in 12 months.
