Preview: Greece v Argentina

by Setanta.com staff , 21 June 2010

Argentina's playmaker Juan Veron could return for the team's final Group B match against Greece in Polokwane, having recovered from a calf injury.

Defender Walter Samuel, however, may not be risked as he is still getting over a minor thigh strain.

Jonas Gutierrez, the team's right-back, is suspended so Nicolas Otamendi could deputise. Javier Mascherano and Gabriel Heinze are both one booking away from a suspension, as Argentina look to guarantee their safe passage in the wake of easy wins over Nigeria and South Korea.

Greece, meanwhile, are likely to keep the same line-up that overcame Nigeria in the last game, with Dimitrios Salpingidis partnering Theofanis Gekas up front. Giorgios Samaras is one of four players on a booking.
