Scunthorpe striker Gary Hooper is a target for Blackpool boss Ian Holloway, althought Middlesbrough and Celtic are also keen.
Hooper found the net 20 times for the Iron last season and has been heavily linked with a move away from Glandford Park.
Holloway has been credited with an interest but he could face competition, with Celtic and Middlesbrough said to be keen.
Reports have suggested Blackpool are preparing a £2.5million bid but with just one year remaining on his current deal, the Seasiders may be able to snap him up for around half that figure.
Scunthorpe boss Nigel Adkins has previously admitted it may be hard to retain his star man over the summer after his impressive goal-haul in a struggling Championship side last season.
