Brighton boss hits out at Toon

by Admin , 03 August 2010

Brighton boss Gus Poyet says he will pull out of a deal to sign Kazenga LuaLua if he cannot reach an agreement with Newcastle.

The 19-year-old was on loan at the Withdean Stadium last season and Poyet had wanted to seal a permanent transfer this summer for the winger.

However, Poyet is now getting frustrated as the move has reached stalemate and warned if Brighton sign someone else then the deal for LuaLua is off.

Poyet told the Argus: "He made us think he was coming last week and then he didn't. It's not in our hands. We are looking to buy someone now.

"Everything has got a limit. You cannot wait forever.

"We know the boy wants to come. Newcastle cannot make a decision. We are not going to wait. If we get someone, especially if we buy him, LuaLua is not coming."
