Preview: Wolves v Southend

by setanta.com staff , 23 August 2010

Wolves manager Mick McCarthy will pick Sam Winnall and Danny Batth for Tuesday's Carling Cup tie against Southend.

However, Steven Fletcher is still regaining fitness after missing Saturday's match at Everton with a bruised foot, whilst Karl Henry is also out with a groin injury.

Steven Mouyokolo is also unavailable due to a damaged hamstring, whilst Steven Ward's recent knee operation precludes his from playing two games in a week.

Southend manager Paul Sturrock is likely to give new signing Bilel Mohsni his first start, after making an appearance from the bench in Saturday's 3-1 league defeat to Port Vale.
