Derry forward Eoin Bradley could be facing a 12-month ban after he allegedly struck the referee of a club championship game on Saturday.

Ballinascreen beat Bradley's Glenullin 3-2 to 1-7 in the Derry Senior Fotbbal Championship. Immediately after the final whistle, it is alledged that Bradley punched referee Declan O'Connor in the face.

The incident is being investigated by Derry county officials.

"We will have to view any evidence we have," disciplinary chairman Mickey McCracken, who was at the game at O'Brien Park in Foreglen but did not see the post-match incident, told BBC Radio Foyle.

"I've heard enough about it and as chairman of the (Derry) CCC (Competitions Control Committee), we have to wait on the referee's report and we also have a video."

If found guilty, Bradley would almost certainly miss all of Derry's 2011 National Football League and Championship campaigns.
