Okaka rules out West Brom move

Roma have confirmed that striker Stefano Okaka won't be joining West Brom this summer and instead will be staying in Italy.

The 21-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham but failed to make a telling impact with the Cottagers, scoring three goals in 13 appearances.

Having gone back to the Stadio Olimpico Okaka now appears to be part of manager Claudio Ranieri's first team plans and came on as a second half substitute in the goalless draw against Cesena at the weekend.

Okaka's agent has ruled out his client going anywhere claiming that while he is a part of Roma's first team he will be staying in Italy.

"I don't know anything about West Bromwich's interest," said Okaka's agent Domenico Scopelliti to asromanews.it.

"Stefano will not move from Rome. He has the confidence of the coach (Claudio Ranieri) and is happy with his current situation."
