Berwick Rangers have been handed a plum tie at home to Celtic in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.
The third division side, who famously beat Celtic’s great Glasgow rivals Rangers in the competition in 1967, defeated Cove Rangers in the previous round and will host the Bhoys on the weekend of January 8/9 2011.
Walter Smith’s Rangers have been drawn at home to fellow SPL side Kilmarnock, who they defeated 3-2 away from home in the SPL on Saturday. Meanwhile, there is a repeat of last year’s final, with holders Dundee United hosting Ross County – who defeated Celtic 2-0 in last year’s semi-final.
Elsewhere, another all SPL-tie sees Hearts drawn at home to St Johnstone, Aberdeen will play East Fife, with Hibernian at home to Ayr United and Motherwell travelling to Dundee.
St Mirren will host Peterhead, Hamilton will play Alloa Athletic and Inverness will welcome Elgin.
Highland League champions Buckie Thistle were hoping for SPL opposition, but they will have to make do with a trip to third division East Stirling.
