Celtic’s home game with Kilmarnock on Saturday is one of two Clydesdale Bank Premier League encounters to have been postponed on Thursday.
The Bhoys’ meeting with Killie and Dundee United’s Tannadice encounter with Motherwell have both fallen to the continuing inclement weather, with the decisions to call off the games made after advice was taken from the police.
Dangerous conditions on roads and pavements after the latest snowfall have led to the postponements, adding to eight SPL games that have already been lost to the weather over the past two weekends.
Meanwhile, Hamilton's clash with Hibernian at New Douglas Park on Saturday could yet fall to the weather as well, though SPL officials think that the other three games – Inverness v Rangers, Hearts v Aberdeen and St Mirren v St Johnstone – will go ahead as planned.
