Newcastle have let young defender Tamas Kadar join Huddersfield Town on a one-month loan deal.
Kadar, who has struggled to force his way into the Magpies' first-team this season, joins the Terriers as cover for left-back Gary Naysmith, who is currently out injured.
The Hungary youngster has only featured in the Carling Cup for Newcastle this term but was on the bench for Saturday's shock FA Cup defeat by Stevenage Borough.
Town boss Lee Clark is pleased with the short-term deal, and told the club's website: "He comes here having played in the Premiership and he is an international footballer, having gained his first cap for Hungary at just 20 years of age.
"I was still at Newcastle when he signed as a youngster and I worked with him there, so we know what we are getting.
"The thing for me was the desire the lad showed; he was on the bench for Newcastle in the FA Cup on Saturday, but he couldn't agree to the move here quickly enough and collected his boots from the Newcastle training ground on Sunday before travelling up to be our squad in preparation for Plymouth (on Tuesday).
"He's in consideration for the Plymouth game, but we have to decide whether we start him or ease him in."
