Germany have handed a new two-year contract extension to manager Joachim Loew.
The new deal will keep Loew, who replaced Jurgen Klinsmann in 2006, at the helm until after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
His previous deal came to an end after the Euro 2012 finals in Poland and Ukraine, but he was keen to get a handle on his longer-term future and he, assistant Hansi Flick, goalkeeping coach Andreas Kopke and team manager Oliver Bierhoff have now all been handed extensions until 2014.
"We believe that it makes sense to continue along this successful path with the national team," said Loew, who took the Germans to the finals of Euro 2008 and semi-final of the last World Cup, only to be edged by Spain in both.
"We believe in the quality of our players and see good prospects for our team."
The extended deal gives the 51-year-old the chance to work with young stars such as Mesut, Ozil, Sami Khedira and Thomas Muller, all stars in South Africa, for some time yet.
