Tom Cribbin's three-year spell at the helm of Offaly football has, not surprisingly, come to an end.
Under the stewardship of the Clane native, the Faithful County failed to gain promotion from Division Three of the Allianz Football League and were subsequently dumped out of the Leinster SFC championship by Wexford.
Offaly's interest in the All-Ireland SFC eventually came to an end when they were beated by Limerick in the qualifiers.
Prior to that it seemed the county's footballing fortunes were on the rise after they overcame Monaghan but it proved to be a false dawn.
"Tom Cribbin has informed Offaly county board Chairman Pat Teehan that he will not be seeking a further term as Offaly senior football manager," a statement from the Offaly county board read.
"Pat Teehan thanked Tom for his contribution to Offaly football over the past three seasons, saying it was always all about Offaly with Tom and never about himself. We wish Tom all the very best."
