Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has revealed the club are looking to bring Wolfsburg striker Tuncay to the club this summer.
The 29-year-old is currently playing in the Bundesliga, following his move from Stoke City back in the January transfer window.
Tuncay could make a return to the Premier League sooner than expected if Wanderers can complete a loan deal for the Turkish international, who has made 80 appearances for his country.
Coyle is hoping to add to his attacking options at the Reebok Stadium ahead of the new season, with Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips also being targeted by the Whites.
The Bolton boss has admitted the club are close to securing the services of Tuncay on a loan deal.
He said: "We are a good way down the line with that but it is not cut and dried. He is a terrific player, who really works his socks off."
