FC Twente winger Bryan Ruiz is hoping that Premier League clubs were watching his goal at the weekend as he targets a move to England.
The 25-year-old is reportedly a target for Tottenham and a few other Premier League outfits and he did his chances of securing a move no harm at all with a goal against AZ Alkmaar.
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp was reportedly due to watch him in action during Saturday's encounter but cancelled the trip as the player started on the bench.
However, it is thought he will now attend Tuesday night's Champions League play-off match between FC Twente and Benfica.
The Spurs' chief missed the Costa Rica international's goal but Ruiz is hoping that the north Londoners were able to view it on TV as he is clearly desperate for way out of his current club.
"I hope that my goal has removed any doubt from the minds of Spurs and any other clubs," he told Voetbal International. "The reluctance of clubs (to sign me) cannot be to do with my technical skills. I showed what I can do last season with Twente.
"My physical condition is not a concern. I am fit."
Spurs will begin their Premier League campaign at Manchester United on August 22.
