Manchester City have agreed terms with Arsenal for the transfer of France international midfielder Samir Nasri.
The 24-year-old midfielder will travel north for a medical at a private hospital in Manchester, instead of taking the plane with the Gunners squad for the Champions League play-off second leg against Udinese on Wednesday night.
"Arsenal can confirm that they have agreed terms for Samir Nasri to move to Manchester City," a statement on Arsenal's website read.
"The 24-year-old midfielder, who has spent three years with the Gunners, has been omitted from Arsenal's squad which flies to Udinese this afternoon and instead will travel north for a medical.
"The move will be subject to Nasri passing a medical and formal registration processes."
Nasri signed for Arsenal from Marseille for £15million in 2008 and leaves the Emirates Stadium after three trophy-less seasons in north London.
He will link up again with former Gunners teammates Gael Clichy and Kolo Toure at Eastlands, while ex-teammate Emmanuel Adebayor have also made the same move in recent seasons.
The fee remains undisclosed but it could turn out to be a similar amount to the one Arsenal paid for Nasri because he had only one year left on his contract at the Emirates.
