Carl Fletcher is the new caretaker manager of Plymouth.
The midfielder, 31, will be assisted by long-serving goalkeeper Romain Larrieu at Home Park.
The duo, who are both on the playing staff at the club, take over from Peter Reid - who was sacked by the Pilgrims' acting chairman Peter Ridsdale on Sunday.
Plymouth are rock-bottom of npower League Two with just one point from nine matches.
