Aston Villa have recalled young striker Andreas Weimann from his loan spell with Watford.
The Austria U21 international was due to remain on loan at Vicarage Road until the end of January but the Midlands club have exercised their right to bring the player back to Villa Park.
Weimann was in his second loan spell with the Hornets have enjoyed a brief stint in the second half of last season.
The 20-year-old started three matches under manager Sean Dyche.
