Hogg targets Scotland spot

Glasgow Warriors' rising star Stuart Hogg has admitted it round be a dream to get a call up to the Scotland squad next year.

The 19-year-old full-back has been in fine form at club level, helping the Scottish side reach fourth place in the RaboDirect Pro12 table, as they also compete strongly in the Heineken Cup, with two wins from three games.

Hogg has been a key part of the Glasgow back-line this season and will have caught the eye of Scotland head coach Andy Robinson after he saw the youngster play in the 20-15 victory over Montpellier on Sunday.

The promising player has revealed he would love the chance to play for his country in the RBS 6Nations as he hopes to compete with the likes of Hugo Southwell for the number 15 jersey.

He said: "It's a dream to play in a Scotland jersey, so hopefully one day it will come.

"Right now I'm just happy to be in the Glasgow team and I'm really working hard on my game.

"I've still got plenty of time."
