Peterborough are still working on extending Ryan Tunnicliffe's loan from Manchester United.

Tunnicliffe's stay at London Road is set to expire after the home game against Birmingham on January 2 2012.

Posh are keen to prolong the deal for the teenage midfielder until the end of the season but terms have yet to be agreed.

"We still haven't got that resolved yet," said manager Darren Ferguson, who confirmed that fellow Manchester United loanee Scott Wootton will remain with the npower Championship club until the end of the campaign.

Tunnicliffe missed the Boxing Day win at Nottingham Forest with a dead leg while illness may keep him out of the trip to Middlesbrough on New Year's Eve.
