Late test for Emnes

by Setanta Staff , 30 December 2011 Late test for Emnes

Middlesbrough will hand a fitness test to striker Marvin Emnes ahead of the visit of Peterborough.

The Dutchman is still struggling with the hamstring injury which has kept him out of the last two games and he will continue to be assessed.

Bart Ogbeche has started in place of Emnes in the last two games and he will continue in the side if the latter does not make it.

Merouane Zemmama (hip) and Kevin Thomson (hamstring) recovered sufficiently from their respective injuries to take their place on the bench in Boxing Day's win over Hull and they will be hoping for a bigger part when Posh come calling.

Boss Tony Mowbray has no other injury or suspension concerns as his side chase a fifth successive win.
