England have played down fears that Stuart Broad will miss the crucial World Cup Group B clash against India after he missed training on Saturday.
The Nottinghamshire paceman sat out a net session as he was suffering with a stomach upset, but he is expected to be fit to face tournament favourites and co-hosts India in Bangalore on Sunday.
Andrew Strauss revealed that Broad experienced a similar problem almost as soon as he touched down on the sub-continent and was suffering with similar discomfort today.
However, the England skipper is expecting the new-ball bowler, who took two wickets in the tense six-wicket win over Netherlands in the opening match, to be available on Sunday.
"Stuart Broad is struggling with a bit of a stomach upset today but he should be fully fit tomorrow," said Strauss.
"Otherwise, everyone is fine."
