Keeper won't rush Hoops decision

Fraser Forster says he is in no rush to sign a permanent contract with Celtic as he looks to weigh up his options in the summer.

The goalkeeper is currently on loan with the Hoops until the end of the season when he is widely expected to leave parent club Newcastle United on a permanent basis.

Celtic do have the first option on Forster and are expected to make a bid for him given Neil Lennon's fondness for the highly-rated shot-stopper.

However, Forster isn't keen to rush into anything and says he will be considering all his options before finally making a decision on where he should go.

Forster said: "I'm on loan here until the end of the season, Celtic have first option at the end of the summer. To be honest, I'm happy leaving it to the summer. I would rather just concentrate on football and that can all be done in the summer, when we're all off and there's more time. We can sit down and sort it all out then.

"Obviously if you are playing well it helps, creates opportunities and strengthens your power of negotiation. It's just important to play well and focus on the football and, most importantly, win the league."
