Tipp to look pretty in pink

by JP Lonergan , 20 January 2012

The Tipperary hurlers will don a pink jersey next week in a challenge game in aid of Breast Cancer Ireland.

Declan Ryan's Premier County, All-Ireland champions of 2010 and reigning Munster kings, will strip off from their regular blue and gold tops and switch to pink for a game against a Munster team managed by the man who delivered Liam McCarthy to Tipp in 2010, Liam Sheedy.

The game will take place on Saturday week, January 28, at MacDonagh Park, Nenagh with a 2.30pm throw-in.

All proceeds will go to Breast Cancer Ireland, with kit supplier O’Neill’s sponsoring jerseys for both teams and a raffle also taking place on the day.
