Arsenal hope to secure Theo Walcott, Robin van Persie, Tomas Rosicky and Wojciech Szczesny down to new deals.
Walcott has 18 months left on his current deal and boss Arsene Wenger is keen to avoid the England international entering the last year of his contract, as Samir Nasri did before forcing through a switch to Manchester City.
According to reports, Walcott is keen to remain with the Gunners but would like reassurances over the club's future and ambition before putting pen to paper.
Barcelona and Juventus have both been linked with Walcott and Wenger is eager to tie the winger down to a new deal to ward off interest from abroad.
Van Persie also has 18 months left on his current deal but has indicated he is willing to extend his stay at the Emirares, while Rosicky and Szczesny are both set for talks regarding new deals.
