Arsenal's hopes of landing Lille winger Edan Hazard have taken a knock after the Belgian admitted he was tempted by Paris St Germain.

Arsene Wenger has been on the trail of Hazard for a while but he is not alone as Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Inter Milan are also very keen but PSG appear to now be the favourites.

The arrival of former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti at PSG, coupled with their new found wealth, and Hazard is leaning towards them.

He said: "Of course PSG is a great club and a personality like Ancelotti, he makes you want to play there. We will see about it later.

""In the next two or three years they will be very solid a very tough team as the players play together for a long time.

"This is only the star of a new era for PSG."
