Bond looks for Harry's return

by Setanta Staff , 07 February 2012 Bond looks for Harry's return

Tottenham assistant manager Kevin Bond says the team managed without Harry Redknapp at Liverpool but they will be glad to get him back.

Redknapp missed the clash at Anfield after technical problems grounded his flight from London City airport and, although it didn't change anything tactically, Bond says they missed their leader.

"Harry would normally give the team talk and he was unable to do that," said Bond.

"He couldn't get here. But we knew the side and the way we were going to play. It was just a different voice giving the instructions to the players.

"But he is our leader and we wanted him here as much as he wanted to be here.

"It is horrible. We had a similar situation the month before last when we played Fulham and he was unable to be at the game."
