Warnock eyes pay off

by Setanta Staff , 07 February 2012 football news

Former boss Neil Warnock is set to meet with QPR officials on Tuesday as he bids to get a £1m pay off from the club.

Having been replaced by Mark Hughes last month Warnock is looking for his contract to be paid up in full and he had 18 months left on his deal when the axe fell.

Warnock would like to get the situation sorted as soon as possible as he plots a move back into the game with Leeds said to be keen on his services after they dismissed Simon Grayson last week.

Warnock is still being paid by Rangers and cannot work again until his dispute has been resolved, but he will meet chief executive Philip Beard on Tuesday to come to an agreement.
