Bohemians boss Pat Fenlon wants his players to bring the attitude they display in training along with them on match days.
Fenlon was aggravated by the champions’ performance during the 3-1 defeat to St Patrick’s Athletic last week, and is set to ring the changes for Friday evening’s FAI Ford Cup game against Cork side Mayfield United.
“There will definitely be changes,” he confirmed.
“I have to say that training has been good since [the loss at Pat’s].
“I can never fault them in training but that’s what makes it more annoying when they don’t perform.”
Whatever side Bohs, the current Cup holders, put out on Friday evening at Dalymount Park, they should have too much for non-league Mayfield, admitted captain Owen Heary.
“The first thing you look for is a home draw,” the defender was quoted as saying by The Irish Sun, “and we got a non-league team as well.
“They are out of season so we should have the edge.
“It will be a big day out for them, they’ll be up for it but realistically we should be coming out on top. If don’t, then we have a problem.”
