·         Spurs fans will be happy to see Robbie Keane back from a loan spell at Celtic. Keane also will get the opportunity to meet an old international foe from the New York Red Bulls as former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry is now within their ranks.

 

  • Man City spent £35million on Inter Milan’s Mario Balotelli. The Italian Under-21 striker will be reunited Roberto Mancini who launched his career.

 

 

·        Liverpool fans may get an early chance to see Joe Cole in action as Roy Hodgson’s Liverpool face an interesting game when they meet old rivals Monchengladbach. The Reds beat Monchengladbach in the 1973 UEFA Cup final and 1977 European Cup final. All eyes will be on new manager Hodgson.
