Setanta Sports will broadcast live coverage of the 2009 Formula 1 World Championships and will show uninterrupted coverage of every practice session, qualifying session and main race live on the Setanta Ireland channel.

As well as broadcasting every race from the 2009 Formula One World Championships, Setanta will also show every Main Race and Sprint Race live from this year’s GP2 Series where previous champions include Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg and new Toyota driver Timo Glock.

Setanta’s Formula One coverage will be brought to you by the Setanta Sports motor racing team of Declan Quigley, David Kennedy and Gary Anderson.

Declan Quigley is presenter, commentator and producer of Setanta Ireland’s Formula One coverage. He is a lifelong race fan and also a successful amateur racer scoring numerous overall and class victories in Formula Vee and Formula Ford in recent years.

Declan will be joined on the commentary team by David Kennedy who is one of the most successful racers to emerge from Ireland. David won races and championships at the highest level progressing all the way to the Formula One World Championship before moving to Sportscars.
