WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko has demanded that David Haye stop running and agree to a title unification fight with him.
The pair had been scheduled to meet last summer but Haye withdrew from the bout because of a back injury. The Londoner then pulled out of talks over a proposed bout with Klitschko's brother, Vitali, the WBC champion, to instead take on the then WBA titleholder, Nikolay Valuev, whom Haye defeated on points in November on last year.
After successfully defending his WBA crown with an impressive technical knockout of John Ruiz earlier this month, Haye immediately declared his intention to seek out the Klitschkos.
However, Wladimir is now claiming that the brash Englishman has yet to get in touch.
"I want to send this message to boxing fans and directly to David Haye," he said in a video posted online. "David, you've bitched out on fighting both Klitschko brothers twice already and now is the time to make it happen.
"On behalf of the boxing fans around the world, I am officially calling you out to fight me.
"You can't run away from me forever and you need to follow through with this fight to get respect. I'm ready. What are you waiting for?"
