Usain Bolt has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a back injury.
The news comes one week after the 100m world record holder lost to fellow American Tyson Gay at a meeting in Stockholm.
Bolt's manager Ricky Simms revealed that the Jamaican was experiencing pain in his lower back, restricting "his ability to generate power in his stride."
Simms added that, were he to race, Bolt could injure both of his legs. He will now have treatment to loosen his back before resting, skipping track and field meetings in both Zurich and Brussels.
