Everton striker Louis Saha has suffered an injury scare on international duty with France after coming off the bench against Belarus.
The former Manchester United and Fulham man came off the bench but lasted just 10 minutes before himself having to be replaced by new coach Laurent Blanc as Les Bleus went down 1-0.
Saha has been plagued by knee problems over recent seasons and turned to blood-sucking leaches to help ease the discomfort.
His setbacks on the fitness front have also meant he has won less caps than should have and speaking before the Belarus game he said: "My luck has been terrible in the past.
"I would be fine for six months, then the day the France squad would be announced I'd get injured.
"It has been hard to take. I would not wish a similar fate on anyone and I have struggled to overcome these setbacks."
