Gary Hooper feels he will be fit to return to the Celtic squad for Saturday's clash with Hearts at Celtic Park.
The summer signing from Scunthorpe has not yet played a competitive match for the Hoops, after suffering a torn calf muscle in a pre-season clash with Blackburn in early August.
But the striker has made good progress in the last week and is eyeing a place in Neil Lennon's plans, probably on the bench, for the visit of the Jambos.
Hooper says he is 'hopeful' of joining in a full training session "later this week" and wants to "be involved" in Saturday's SPL home match.
