Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is planning a January swoop for Stoke's Turkish international striker Tuncay Sanli.
The striker appears to have slipped down the pecking order at the Britannia Stadium following the summer arrivals of Eidur Gudjohnsen and Kenwyne Jones.
Potters boss Tony Pulis is now thought to be willing to allow the former Middlesbrough forward to depart in January, with Blackburn set to reignite their interest after failing to land Tuncay on loan in the summer.
The likes of Sunderland, West Brom, Wigan and West Ham have all been linked with Tuncay and Allardyce may well face a battle to secure the striker's signature.
