Wenger weighs up changes

by Admin , 05 January 2011 Wenger weighs up changes

Arsene Wenger has no new injury concerns for the clash against Manchester City but could recall the likes of Andrey Arshavin.

The Gunners manager has given his squad a clean bill of health after the new years day victory over Birmingham, with Manuel Almunia, Thomas Vermaelen and Abou Diaby all still absent.

Kieran Gibbs has returned to first team training but isn't quite match fit so won't make his return until the FA Cup third round clash with Leeds on Saturday.

Wenger might decide to rotate his squad again for Arsenal's fourth game in 11 days, with the likes of Arshavin, Denilson, Tomas Rosicky and Marouane Chamakh pushing for a recall having been left out of the starting eleven at St Andrew's.
