Teenage striker John Guidetti appears set to leave Manchester City to join Dutch outfit FC Twente on a Bosman transfer.
The 19-year-old Sweden Under-21 international has endured a difficult time at Eastlands as he made just one appearance for City this past season when he started the Carling Cup defeat to West Brom.
Guidetti also spent time on loan with Championship side Burnley last November, where he scored one goal in five appearances.
But, with his future chances of breaking into City's star-studded line-up under Roberto Mancini not good, the youngster is set to link up with FC Twente on a four-year deal.
"If you have the chance to sign a big talent on a Bosman, you have to take that chance," said FC Twente chairman Joop Munsterman.
"Guidetti does not want to be the sixth-choice striker at Manchester City and wait for a possible chance."
