Marc Wilson has insisted he remains committed to the Republic of Ireland and has ruled out talk of him switching to Northern Ireland.
Northern Ireland's new manager Michael O'Neill has revealed that he wants to speak to the likes of Wilson because they were born in the north and have yet to play a competitive international for the Republic.
But Wilson is not interested in the prospect and the Stoke full-back told the Sentinel: "There isn't a chance and I've already said this before.
"
To be honest, even when growing up I've always been a Republic supporter.
"If I have to wait for my chance, that's what I will have to do. The lads have done really well, so you can't take anything away from them. And the manager has done a great job."
