Alan Pardew says he is spoilt for choice for strikers ahead of Sunday's game with Aston Villa after Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse returned.
The duo have been away for nearly a month at the Africa Cup of Nations but are back at St James' Park after Senegal were knocked out of the competition in the first round.
Ba, who has scored 15 goals for the Toon this season, and Cisse, a £9million January signing from Freiburg, may expect to start but face competition from Leon Best, Shola Ameobi and Peter Lovenkrands.
The trio have done well in Be and Cisse's abscence and Pardew admits he isn't sure who will start up front against Villa.
Pardew told the Chronicle: "It's a tough call on Sunday as to what we're going to do with Cisse and Demba.
"We took Best off at Blackburn because he was sick, but he was brilliant against Rovers - as was Peter Lovenkrands."
