L'OM skipper wants Prem move

by Laurent Picard , 14 March 2009

Marseille skipper Lorik Cana has set his sights on securing a move to either The Premier League or to the Bundesliga in the future.

The Albanian midfielder, who is back from a long absence through injury, has revealed that he is keen on moving to a foreign league, with England and Germany part of his plans.

The powerful and versatile midfielder Cana, who was once linked to Real Madrid, is also dying to face his old club Paris Saint Germain on Sunday night, in a clash that will be shown live on Setanta Sports 1 from 7.55pm.

Cana told Le Parisien: “I am under contract until 2012. I do not apprehend this moment because everything will depend on the offers that will be made.

“What I can tell you for sure is that I will not spend all my career at Marseille because I want to discover a foreign league, the English or the German one.

“I will turn 26 in July so I am in no hurry.  Moving his not a necessity.

“Marseille is like being at home to me. I have experienced beautiful seasons with L’OM and only a title is missing.”
