Larsson sticks knife into 'diver' Ronaldo

Henrik Larsson has labelled his former Manchester United team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo a ‘diver’.

Larsson is set to go toe-to-toe with his former Old Trafford colleague as Sweden face Portugal in a World Cup qualifier on Saturday.

Ronaldo once again came under the spotlight during the last seven days, throwing several tantrums and lunging in on Danny Murphy as Manchester United lost 2-0 to Fulham.

But it is his honesty in the challenge, or lack of, that concerns Larsson, who intends to have a captain’s word in the ear of the referee before kick-off in Porto on Saturday.

"I intend to speak with the referee before the match to warn him about Ronaldo diving," The Daily Mail quotes Larsson as saying.

"We must be careful, as a team, not to get caught out by that, but so must the referee. I will be having a word with him and telling him to keep an eye out for it."

You don't stop to think then that Ronaldo is being targeted to put him out of the country and football in this country? The fella is a genius footballer, and it's strange that no players out of the Euro teams in the euro Cup have ever accused Ronaldo of diving? Why is that? Do the continentals enjoy their football and love it better than us. And forget Larsson, he is trying it on because Sweden is playing Portugal, that's all. It's still my view that Ronaldo is being hustled out of the Premiership because of his talent, and whatever you praise about the rest of the United team, this is a smokescreen - United would not have won anything last year without Ronaldo's forty + goals. You and the rest are jealous, that's all, and you know that.

You obviously have not asked yourself a question : Why Berba, Tevez, Giggs and Rooney are not associated with diving and cheating and Ronaldo is?
Ronaldo is, without of the doubt, very talented player who might achieve greatness if he stops diving and cheating.If you (Man U fans), Sir Alex, his team mates, media and us ( supporters) do not tell him that he will never be able to leave mark in the history of the game without diving and cheating being mentioned. And in my opinion it would be unfair on very good player he is. I can not turn a blind eye on CHEATING no matter who does it. It is a cancer in our game and should be eradicated.
A bit of advice if you want to avoid being called names start thinking rationally and be objective in your comments.
I am just an ordinary football fan who loves football without cheating and diving. The name of the team i support would not ring any bells to you anyway and as i said before it is not in the Premiership nor Championship.

Peter, change the record1 You hate Ronaldo because - and you always deny this - scored over forty goals last year, in all competitions. As least I say what I am , a United fan, you are too yellow to show your hand in case Liverpool WIN NOTHING THIS YEAR. I notice you never run Chelsea or Arsenal down, even after an arsenal player spit at the Hull City coach, worse than any so called diving. You think you've got the intelligence of a brain surgeon, but you are a little boy really, fighting with all the kids because one of them stole your lollipop! Grow up and stop writing garbage, you are becoming the biggest bore on this site, even more boring than Liverbird, and she is boring! Be a man and say who you support, not a wimp!

Ronaldo is a CHEAT and a DIVER.
ABL is his advocate, which makes him a complete fool as no one in their right state of mind would ever do that.
You can not hide the truth from us ABL. All of football fans around the world have TV's in their living rooms and can see Ronaldo trying to con referees every week.
As you are not the brightest individual please try, if you can, asking yourself a question : Why Rooney, Berbatov, Giggs, Tevez,.. are not a subject of diving and cheating stories in the media, but Ronaldo is? It is not rocket science, so you might be able to figure that out.
Now you can get lost and join the club of Dumbest Man U fans ever.
