Barrow grabbed a late equaliser to take a 1-1 draw against Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground.
Dean Saunders’ men took the lead in the 76th minute through 17-year-old substitute Obi Anorou, but Nick Rogan came off the bench for Barrow to claim a vital injury-time equaliser.
Wrexham remain tenth in the table while Barrow move up to 18th, three points ahead of the relegation zone.
In Thursday’s other game, Ebbsfleet took a significant step towards safety with a 1-0 win at Eastbourne Borough.
Ebbsfleet were on top from the start against a weakened Borough side and Michael Gash fired home off the post in the 56th minute to give the visitors all three points.
The result moves Ebbsfleet four points clear of danger with four games in hand over 21st-placed Grays Athletic.
