Automatic promotion candidates Cambridge travel to play-off hopefuls Stevenage in the pick of Tuesday's eight games.

Stevenage v Cambridge United

Stevenage boss Graham Westley will be without midfielder Darren Murphy for the clash with high-fliers Cambridge after he was sent off in Boro’s 4-2 defeat at Kidderminster.

It was Boro’s first reverse in 24 matches and came at a huge cost with Ronnie Henry also picking up a calf injury that will rule him out against The U’s so Mark Albrighton and Peter Vincenti are set to start.

Cambridge defender Phil Bolland is doubtful for the trip to Broadhall Way after limping out of the shock defeat to Forest Green with a hamstring strain.

But right-back Dan Gleeson is expected to return from a thigh problem with on-loan Bradford defender Simon Ainge switching to centre-back to deputise for Bolland if the former Chester man fails to make it.

Wrexham v Histon

Wrexham teenager Obi Anouro is set to keep his place in the Red Dragons frontline after two goals in two games.

Winger Wes Baynes is also pushing for a start after impressive displays from the bench against Barrow and Mansfield.

Histon boss Steve Fallon will be without striker Danny Wright unless The Stutes win a planned appeal over his weekend sending off at Oxford.

Midfielder Neil Andrews is a doubt with an ankle injury so Josh Simpson will keep his place in the starting XI.

York v Oxford

Struggling York are without banned duo Simon Rusk and Richard Brodie for the crucial clash with Oxford.

Mark Greaves and Simon Russell are pushing for recalls but City boss Martin Foyle could wield the axe after their dire performance in the 1-0 defeat at Grays.

Oxford will be forced into at least one change from the weekend win over Histon with striker Craig Farrell ruled out under the terms of his loan deal from York.

That means Adam Murray will play just off James Constable in attack and with Damian Batt available again at full-back Adam Chapman can move back into midfield.

Forest Green v Kidderminster

Forest Green midfielder Alex Lawless is expected to recover from illness for the visit of Kidderminster but may have to settle for a place on the bench after Rovers impressive win at Cambridge.

Make-shift right-back Jonathan Smith impressed in defence at The Abbey Stadium so he will stay at the back with Darren Jones keeping his place in midfield.

Martin Brittain will get the nod from the start for Kidderminster after he came off the bench to play a leading role in their win over Stevenage.

The former Newcastle youngster will replace Darryl Knights from the start and that’s likely to be Mark Yates’ only change as they bid to extend their unbeaten run to nine matches.

Kettering v Barrow

Kettering boss Mark Cooper will ring the changes for The Poppies home clash with struggling Barrow after their poor display at Torquay.

Brett Solkhon and Ben Wright were both hauled off at half-time at Plainmoor and are likely to be on the bench with Craig Westcarr, Jean-Paul Marna and Chris Beardsley all chasing recalls.

Barrow are boosted by the return of on-loan Rochdale striker Lee McEvilly from a ban and he will go straight back into the starting XI.

Nick Rogan will make way for McEvilly and joint bosses Dave Bayliss and Darren Sheridan are crossing their fingers key midfielder Mark Boyd’s rib injury clears up.

Mansfield v Ebbsfleet

Mansfield boss David Holdsworth is set to reshuffle his pack after blasting The Stags performance in the weekend defeat at Wrexham.

Only Louis Briscoe and Aaron O’Connor escaped Holdsworth’s wrath after coming off the bench and they are set to face The Fleet from the start.

Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish will take a head count for Fleet’s fifth game in ten days with veteran defender Paul McCarthy a doubt after limping out of the win over Northwich.

Fleet have won their last three matches 1-0 to move away from the drop zone but Daish insists fatigue is catching up with them.

Altrincham v Eastbourne Borough

Altrincham midfielder Anthony Danylyk will miss the clash with Eastbourne after his sending-off in the defeat at Lewes.

York loanee Ben Wilkinson could make his full debut as his replacement with Warren Peyton, Chris Senior and Robbie Lawton also in contention to start.

On-loan West Ham youngster Jack Jeffrey will be recalled to the Eastbourne attack after scoring two goals in 11 minutes in the weekend win over Weymouth.

Forward’s Andy Atkin and Sam Gargan are definitely out and with Allan Tait also a doubt Jeffrey is in boss Garry Wilson’s starting plans.

Northwich v Woking

Northwich’s hopes of avoiding the drop have received a blow after striker Kyle Perry was recalled by Port Vale.

Perry’s recall has left boss Andy Preece with just two fit strikers in Jonny Allan and Aaron Burns for the visit of Woking, a game The Vics must win to put off relegation.

Woking expect to have defender Colin Miles available again after the defender was the victim of mistaken identity in the win at Barrow.

Miles took the wrap for Paul Lorraine’s professional foul at the weekend and The Cards are trying to get the decision overturned before the trip to The Victoria Stadium.
