Northwich 2 Woking 0
Northwich Victoria live to fight another day as they avoided relegation by beating Woking at home with goals from Simon Grand and Luke Horrocks.
The Vics made a bright start and took the lead midway through the first half when Grand headed in Joel Bryom’s corner.
Woking were under the cosh as Northwich searched for the killer second goal with Grand twice heading wide from good positions.
And the home side eventually killed off The Cards as Horrocks hammered in his first goal for the club on 78 minutes when keeper Ross Worner failed to gather.
Stevenage 2 Cambridge United 1
Stevenage made it ten wins from their last 12 home games as Lee Boylan grabbed the winner against his former club Cambridge.
Stevenage took the lead when Lawrie Wilson crossed to Junior Mendes who had the time to space to turn and fire past Danny Potter from close range.
Boro’s leading goalscorer Steve Morison missed two further chances to extend the home side’s lead before he surrendered possession allowing Robbie Willmott to finish off a clinical counter attack.
But Stevenage restored their advantage on 31 minutes when Scott Laird set up Boylan to fire high into the net although they were reduced to ten men in the second half when Mark Roberts was shown a straight red for a foul on Wayne Hatsell.
Forest Green 2 Kidderminster 2

Mansfield 2 Ebbsfleet 0
Mansfield boss David Holdsworth celebrated the signing of a new four-year contract with a comfortable victory over Ebbsfleet.
Louis Briscoe grabbed his first goal for The Stags when he latched onto full debutant Daryl Clare’s 22nd minute through ball before through ball before finishing emphatically past Lance Cronin.
The home side bagged a second just after the break when Ryan Williams crossed for Rob Duffy to head in off the crossbar.
Mansfield looked the most likely to grab the third goal as they pressed in the second half but Cronin denied both Clare and substitute Aaron O’Connor.
Altrincham 2 Eastbourne Borough 2
Shaun Densmore’s brilliant free kick rescued a point for Altrincham in their thrilling draw with Eastbourne Borough.
Jack Jeffrey struck his third goal of the season for Boro when he connected with Ben Austin’s cross in the eighth minute.
Austin turned from scorer to provider when he got the away side’s second just before the break as he hammered from long range only for Colin Little to bag his 15th goal of the season early in the second half.
And the stage was set for Densmore to curl his effort around the wall on 69 minutes although The Robins are without a win in five games.
Wrexham 0 Histon 0
Histon’s promotion effort was hit when they were shut out by a determined Wrexham at The Racecourse Ground.
The Stutes made most of the running and were desperately close to taking the lead when Jack Midson’s header rattled the crossbar.
But Wrexham came equally close to breaking the deadlock in the first half as Ashley Westwood saw his header cleared off the line.
At the other end Aurelien Collin also cleared off the line while Welsh international Andrew Crofts drew a fine save late on for Wrexham.
York 0 Oxford United 0
Onome Sodje missed a penalty for relegation-threatened York in their goalless draw with play-off chasers Oxford.
The first chance of the game was created by Oxford’s James Constable who robbed Danny Parslow before crossing to Simon Clist who drew a flying save from Michael Ingham.
On 23 minutes York were given a golden opportunity to take the lead from the spot for Damian Batt’s controversial handball but Billy Turley kept out Sodje’s effort diving to his right.
Sodje was denied twice more by Turley and in the dying moments Constable hit the bar.
Kettering 0 Barrow 0
Kettering’s play-off hopes were dented as they were held to a point at home by Barrow.
Visiting keeper Tim Deasy’s palms were stung by Craig Westcarr’s piledriver after just five minutes.
