AFC Telford are surprise winners of the Setanta Shield after beating Blue Square Premier side Forest Green 3-0 on penalties.
The game was goalless after 90 minutes and, in accordance with a pre-match agreement, extra time was skipped in order to go straight to spot-kicks.
Telford, currently fourth in the Blue Square North, had goalkeeper Ryan Young to thank after he saved three of Forest Green’s efforts.
Jon Adams, Mark Danks and Gavin Cowan all did the business from 12 yards to give the Shropshire side the first trophy in their history.
Telford have previously beaten Blue Square Premier sides Barrow, Burton Albion and Cambridge en route to the final.
