Interest grows in Hungary star

by Robin Hackett , 23 April 2009

Roland Juhasz has admitted he would welcome the chance to play in England as reports suggest Arsenal and Aston Villa are now monitoring the defender.

The 25-year-old Anderlecht star has been linked with a number of clubs including Bolton, Hull, Inter, Fiorentina, Marseille, Borussia Dortmund and Hamburg.

And, although he said he would not like to join a club of Inter’s size, he has revealed that he would like to test himself in England.

“I’m ready to play in a big championship, like The Premier League,” he told La Derniere Heure.

“Money isn’t the be all and end all. You also have to take into account how often you play and under what circumstances when you move to a new club.”

The Hungary international was named the country’s young player of the year in 2005 and best domestic footballer of the year in 2008.
