Bobo Vieri eyes Brazil move

by Laurent Picard , 23 April 2009

Christian Vieri will play his trade in South America according to his agent, who has hinted that the Italian could commit his future to a Brazilian side shortly.

The former Italy international was released by Atalanta earlier this season, with reports suggesting the striker was invited for a trial with LA Galaxy.

But the 35-year-old is apparently nearing a stunning free transfer to a top flight Brazilian side, according to one of his representatives.

Vieri, known as 'The Bison' and 'Bobo', played the major part of his career in Serie A, and also experienced spells in Spain with Atletico Madrid and France with Monaco.

“There is a 90 percent chance of seeing Vieri play in Brazil,” Franck Assuncao told LanceNet.

“What he wants to do is play, and he is delighted with this chance.”
