Dynamo Kiev have expressed their interest in Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko.
Ukraine legend Shevchenko, who made his debut for Dynamo in 1994 and played for the Kiev giants until 1999, is welcome at his old club according to president Igor Surkis.
Milan are not expected to offer the 32-year-old a permanent deal as the forward is yet to score in Serie A this season.
For their part, Chelsea could be ready to let the player go for a cheap transfer fee in order to avoid paying his high salary.
Surkis said: “For such a player, our doors will always be open.
“Andriy wants to continue to play at a high level, and we can give him this chance.”
