The English game loves an eccentric, indeed, Jose Mourinho’s spell in charge of Chelsea was as memorable for his random rants and quirky quotes as it was for his achievements on the pitch.
With Carlo Ancelotti being widely tipped to follow in the Portuguese coach’s footsteps and manage at Stamford Bridge, it is only appropriate that he precedes his possible tenure in West London with some totally nonsensical comments to confound and confuse the British public….
