Midfielder Niko Kranjcar has rejected claims he could leave Portsmouth in the summer.
The Croatia star, 24, has been persistently linked with a move away from Fratton Park after the club spent the season battling relegation.
However, with billionaire Sulaiman Al-Fahim set to take over the club, Kranjcar says he has no intention of seeking a move.
“I’m not going anywhere,” he told Sportske Novosti.
“They are always talking about me going, but why would I want to leave Portsmouth? We have a new owner.
“My ambitions are greater than just Premier League survival, but I have another year on my contract.
“I want to spend that year just enjoying life and playing without injuries before going off to the World Cup.”
Kranjcar suffered an ankle injury against Bolton in April and had been expected to face a lengthy lay-off, but he has revealed he is now running again and could take part in his country’s upcoming World Cup qualifier against Ukraine on June 6.
“I started running again three days before the end of the English season,” he said.
“I have now recovered from the injury. Of course, I am lacking in training and haven’t played since April 18.”
